Elsie E. (Marquis) McCann, 93, of 75 Judy Drive in Leominster, died 
        Wednesday, Dec. 6, in Keystone Center in Leominster. 
        She was born on March 27, 1913, in 
        Leominster, and was the daughter of Theodore and Clara (Bourgerois) 
        Marquis. Mrs. McCann graduated from Leominster High School in 1931. She 
        then worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Stevens at Leominster 
        Hospital, followed by working for Dr. Smith D.D.S. She then worked at 
        New England Telephone, and was the treasurer for McCann Pontiac Inc. in 
        Leominster. She was a member of the Hospital Guild, and the Fortnightly 
        Club. She was a member of St. Leo’s Parish where she taught C.C.D. 
        Mrs. McCann is survived by two 
        daughters, Jane Walsh and her husband, Edward Walsh, and Ellen Campagna 
        and her husband, Pelino “Bill” Campagna, all of Leominster; one brother, 
        Bernard Marquis of Leominster; one sister, Gloria Howard of California; 
        five grandchildren, Johnathan C. Campagna of Leominster, Francesca Conte 
        of Worcester, Chris M. Walsh of New York City, Dan Walsh and Antoinette 
        Walsh of Gardner, and Alex Walsh of Boston; and five 
        great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis A. 
        McCann, in 1978.
