                    | Bernard Peter Royer of Summit Avenue in Oak Bluffs 
                    passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at his home surrounded 
                    by his loving daughter, Kendal Royer, his former wife, Carol 
                    Avides, his loving girlfriend, Helen Uusitalo and faithful 
                    dog, Bruno. He was 52. 
                     Bernard was born on November 16, 1955 in Leominster 
                    and moved with his parents, John H. Royer and Eva Marie (Turbide) 
                    Royer, to Bourne for a period of time before returning to 
                    Leominster and graduating from Leominster High School. 
                     
                    Mr. Royer spent eight years in the Air Force and 
                    traveled from Sacramento, CA to Madrid, Spain and Alaska. He 
                    was honorably discharged as a staff sergeant from McClellan 
                    Air Force Base in California.  
                    He has resided on Martha’s Vineyard for the past 
                    twelve years and worked on this island and Nantucket for 
                    various companies as a painter and carpenter. Bernard was a member of the VFW Post 9261 in Oak 
                    Bluffs and he enjoyed biking, boating, snorkeling, photography, 
                    music, painting and drawing.  
                    He is survived by his father, John H. Royer and 
                    step-mother, Taimi Royer of Centerville; his loving 
                    companion, Helen Uusitalo of Oak Bluffs; his daughter, 
                    Kendal Royer of Leominster; and his son, Christopher Royer 
                    of Minnesota; and his former wife Carol Ann (Sharos) Aviles 
                    of Leominster. He was predeceased by his mother, Eva Marie

           Bill Butler 
          1955 - 2006 
          
          William J. Butler, 51, of 22 Vine St., died Tuesday, Oct. 10, in 
          HealthAlliance Hospital/Leominster after being stricken ill at home. 
          Mr. Butler was born in Leominster on Jan. 2, 1955, son of Ronald 
          L. Butler, Sr. and the late Beatrice M. (Conner) Butler and was a 
          lifelong resident. Bill was a fleet mechanic at Medstar Ambulance 
          Service in Leominster and a supervisor at Quality Towing & Recovery, 
          Inc. in Leominster.  
          He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Cynthia E. (Nichols) 
          Butler; his father, Ronald L. Butler Sr.; a stepdaughter, Valerie 
          Boudreau; three daughters, Billie Jeanne Butler, Amy Butler, and Becky 
          Butler; a son, Nathan Butler; a sister, Robin K. Key and two brothers, 
          David A. Butler and John G. Butler. He was predeceased by a sister, 
          Jeanne M. Butler in 2001 and a brother, Ronald L. Butler, Jr. in 2004. 
          Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster.    |

        John L. 
        Boissoneau Jr. 
        1955-2005 
        
        John L. Boissoneau, Jr., 50, of 98 Harrison St., died 
        Saturday morning, Sept. 10, in Emerson Hospital, Concord, after being 
        stricken ill.   
        He was born in Leominster, the son of John L. and Mary (Ladner) 
        Boissoneau, Sr., and had lived in Florida, before returning to 
        Leominster several years ago. He was a 1973 graduate of Leominster High 
        School and was a member of St. Leo’s Church in Leominster. 
        Mr. Boissoneau worked at Moore’s Lumber Yard in Ayer. He also had 
        worked as a carpenter for Vaillencourt Siding Co. in Ashby.

            Margaret Houle 
            1954 - 
            2008 
            Margaret J. “Peggy” Houle, 53, of 238 Ridgewood 
            Drive, Leominster, died Saturday, April 19, in the Hillcrest Nursing 
            Center in Fitchburg after a courageous battle with cancer.  
            Peggy was born in Leominster on Nov. 29, 1954, 
            daughter of Wilfred and Mary Gloria (Landry) Houle and was a 
            lifelong resident. She attended St. Leo’s School, Leominster High 
            School and was a graduate of Holliston Junior College in Holliston. 
            She was a member of St. Leo’s Church in Leominster. Peggy had a 
            passion for music and playing guitar, and she enjoyed writing songs. 
            She loved the outdoors and camping, mountains, the ocean and the 
            sun. She loved and cared for animals of all kinds, raised horses and 
            enjoyed horseback riding. She worked a variety of jobs involving pet 
            care. She loved spending time with her family and friends and will 
            be remembered for her undeniable strength and her kind heart. 
            She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne E. Houle 
            of Leominster; her mother, Mary Gloria (Landry) Houle of Leominster; 
            three sisters, Judith Mariano of Derry, N.H., Carol Allain of 
            Leominster and Mary Liljengren of Greenville, N.H.; two nieces, 
            Heather Austin of Fitchburg and Katie McDonough of Lusby, Md.; four 
            nephews, Frank Mariano of Derry, N.H., Nicholas Allain of 
            Leominster, David “DJ” Liljengren of Greenville, N.H., Bobby 
            McDonough of Skipwith, Va.; a great-niece, Alava Mariano of Derry, 
            N.H.; and a great-nephew, Alexander Allain of Leominster. She was 
            predeceased by her father, Wilfred R. “Cy” Houle, in 2004; and her 
            brother, Martin McDonough, in 2007. 
            A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 
            April 23, from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West 
            St., Leominster, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Leo’s Church, 128 
            Main St., Leominster. Burial will be at a later date. Calling hours 
            will be held on Tuesday, April 22, from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral
